In the streets of Spain, a group of believers from the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL) has been working with unwavering faith to spread their message of truth, peace, and divine unity. These Ansar—followers of the call of Aba Al-Sadiq—are inspired by their mission to establish a Divine Just State on Earth. Among them are Youssra Bezai, Saliha Salma, Soumia Foufa, Rafik Lombarkia, and Mihoub Salma, who exemplify the resilience and determination of those who endure persecution for their beliefs.
The journey of these Algerian Ansar has been far from easy. In 2023, some were placed under house arrest in Algeria for simply gathering to discuss their faith. Branded as heretics for embracing the 7th and final covenant of God, they faced accusations of apostasy, social ostracization, and severe restrictions. Practices such as the optional wearing of the hijab, the absence of obligatory Friday prayers, and a permissive stance on moderate alcohol consumption were used to vilify their beliefs.
Denied the freedom to practice their religion, many were subjected to harassment and were barred from work, reducing them to virtual prisoners in their own homes. Despite Algeria's constitutional guarantees of freedom of belief under Article 36 and its commitments to international human rights standards, these promises were not upheld.
The Ansar's plight echoes the Quranic verse:
"They wish to extinguish Allah's light with their mouths, but Allah will certainly perfect His light, even to the dismay of the disbelievers." — Surah As-Saf, 8
Others fled to Turkey, seeking safety after facing familial and societal persecution, especially following the publication of The Goal of the Wise and the public recognition of Aba Al-Sadiq's divine call. Yet, even in Turkey, they encountered prejudice and restrictions, prompting a perilous journey to Europe. Among the 104 asylum seekers, many faced violent pushbacks at the Bulgarian border, enduring detention under harsh conditions despite the support of over 25 human rights organizations. Months later, after experiencing physical and mental hardship, they found refuge in Spain—a nation that acknowledged their suffering and granted them asylum.
Now settled in Spain, these Ansar enjoy newfound liberty to practice their faith openly and share their beliefs. Free from the fear of persecution, wrongful arrest, or threats to their families, they can live authentically, spreading the call of the divine mission.
In their missionary efforts, the Ansar distribute flyers and engage with communities to raise awareness about the message of Aba Al-Sadiq and his Divine Manifesto. They emphasize the universal mission to unite humanity, transcending differences to establish the kingdom of heaven on Earth.
Their journey reflects the prophetic words of scripture:
"The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man; the field is the world, and the good seed are the children of the kingdom." — Matthew 13
As they walk through Spanish cities, these Ansar embody Isaiah's vision:
"He lifts a banner for the distant nations and whistles for those at the ends of the earth. Behold—how speedily and swiftly they come." — Isaiah 5:26
Their work, inspired by a mission to heal divisions and establish divine justice, serves as a testament to faith's enduring power. Through hardship and resilience, the Ansar remind the world of the transformative potential of belief and the universal call to peace and light.
نعم من الاجل الانسان و الانسانية و العمل على نشر السلام و الاخوة
They wish to extinguish Allah's light with their mouths, but Allah will certainly perfect His light, even to the dismay of the disbelievers." — Surah As-Saf, 8
Surely with hardship comes ease.
