Believers in France Protest for the Release of Yahyah and Hudhaifa in Morocco

Writer's picture: James PollardJames Pollard

On March 3rd, in Paris, France, a unique gathering took place, bringing together the believers in the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light from Germany and France to protest against the oppressive and hypocritical stance of the Moroccan regime. The regime had incarcerated and prosecuted two young members of the AROPL faith simply for displaying posters about their faith peacefully.

And they requested victory from God, and disappointed, therefore, was every obstinate tyrant. – Surah Ibrahim, verse 15

We spoke to Allous Salim, who, in conjunction with the Bishop of France, organized the gathering. He shared with us the story as it unfolded, much to our delight.

What was the purpose of the gathering in Paris, France, on March 3, 2025?

The aim of the March 3, 2025 gathering in Paris had two clear objectives. The first was to demand the immunity of Yahya Marfouk and Huzaifa Azuz, two members of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light who were arrested in Morocco. Our brother Yahya was released under surveillance awaiting his trial, while our brother Huzaifa was forcibly interned in a psychiatric hospital under the denunciation of his own father. We denounced these violations of human rights and called on France not to remain silent in the face of these tyrannical acts of oppression.

The secondary goal was to let Paris and the whole world know that the Riser Aba Al-Sadiq, Abdullah Hashem, has appeared to bring liberty to the captives. He is the messenger of God, sent to bring a unifying message of justice and truth. His call is simple in essence: Humanity comes before religion.

Where did the people gather, how many gathered, and from where did they all come?

The gathering began on the Esplanade du Trocadéro, facing the Eiffel Tower, and we were 14 believers. The participants came from all over: Belgium, various regions of France, and many traveled long hours to be present. To our great surprise, we had the honor and support of our brothers and sisters from Germany, who traveled more than 15 hours round trip to be by our side.

These sacrifices and this determination are living proof of the fraternity that unites us in love and submission to Aba Al-Sadiq. Each of us knew why we were there: for Yahya, for Huzaifa, to denounce injustice, and to announce the truth to the whole world.

What did the signs you held up say, and did you use slogans or any particular mantras?

Our signs and slogans reflected our fight. It was a call for justice, freedom, and the recognition of our rights. We denounced the injustice that Yahya and Huzaifa are victims of, imprisoned simply for their beliefs. We also highlighted our right to freedom of conscience, reminding everyone that the veil is not a divine obligation and that religious repression has no place in a world that strives for justice and equity.

Our slogans were chanted throughout the demonstration:

 • “Free Yahya and Huzaifa!”

 • “Justice for the oppressed!”

 • “We are all brothers in humanity!”

 • “The truth cannot be silenced!”

 • “Aba Al-Sadiq is the messenger of God, come and hear his message!”

Through these cries, we wanted to remind everyone that we are not persecuted for crimes we have committed, but simply because we advocate for an open faith, one that seeks unity and peace. We insisted that France defend our rights while Morocco imprisons us, and we urged France to officially condemn these persecutions.

Our signs were explicit:

 • “Human rights are universal, not optional!”

 • “Reasons of State must not make human rights in Morocco forgotten!”

 • “We ask France to condemn the repression of the Moroccan regime!”

 • “Aba Al-Sadiq calls you for a just and equitable world for all.”

We wanted to send a clear message: we will not be silent. Our voices will echo beyond the Place du Trocadéro, reaching the world to proclaim that oppression must cease, once and for all.

Did your slogans and efforts arouse curiosity that day from the local population, political movements, or media representatives?

Yes, our speech aroused curiosity, particularly among passersby and tourists who were there. Some of our supporters took the time to exchange with them, explaining our faith and the reasons for our fight. Many were touched by our message, asking questions and showing interest in Aba Al Sadiq. It was an opportunity to shed light on our religion and show that we are a peaceful movement advocating unity and justice.

On the other hand, regarding the media, there were no major channels present, but a few Moroccan journalists approached. They interviewed some of our members, like Myriam and Ulises.

Did you visit other sites to proclaim the message to the French people and beyond?

Yes, after the demonstration, we parted ways with those returning, but a small group of us decided to continue the action. We went to the Arc de Triomphe to proudly unfurl the banner “Allegiance is to Allah.” This gesture was highly symbolic. The Arc de Triomphe represents history, resilience, and victory, and we wanted to affirm our commitment to truth and justice. It was a strong moment, a moment of brotherhood, where all of us felt the warming and loving presence of Aba Al-Sadiq, as we paid tribute to him.

How did the gathering influence the believers, their faith, and their community?

The gathering was a real source of energy and comfort for all of us. Finding ourselves among brothers and sisters in faith, feeling this unity and shared determination, was powerful. For many, it was a moment of calm, a reminder that we are not alone and that our fight is just. This strengthened the faith of each person, showing that despite the distance and challenges, we remain united and committed. Seeing so much dedication, hearing our voices raised together, and feeling this fervour gave us strength. It was more than just a demonstration; it was a living reminder of our mission and our commitment to Aba Al-Sadiq.

Psalm 133: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Are there future gatherings planned or innovative projects?

Yes, I intend to continue, and I will not stop until the truth is made manifest across the world. The next gathering must focus on the fight against poverty, sharing, and divine justice. But above all, it will be a moment to invite people to discover Aba Al-Sadiq, the one man who can bring about the Divine Just State, where peace and prosperity will be achieved for all who seek humanity first and foremost.

The plan is for the believers to establish a stand where they can provide literature to welcome truth seekers, allowing them to investigate the proofs of the call and become aware of the divine knowledge being revealed.

A companion once asked Imam Jafar Sadiq: “How do we know about Sahib Al-Amr (Companion of the Matter)?” He replied, “Peacefulness, dignity, knowledge, and the will.” – Bihar Al-Anwar Vol. 62, p. 217

The believers plan to install a stand with flyers and booklets so that passersby can take literature to read and reflect upon. They will also broadcast Aba Al-Sadiq’s videos on a screen connected to a speaker, ensuring that his message is visible and heard by all. Additionally, they plan to print a mini-booklet with extracts from The Goal of the Wise, including a QR code for deeper research.

They also hope to take their message to various locations, giving speeches on peace, love for humanity, and justice, engaging passersby and inviting them to reflect, just as the Prophets did before us. They aim to answer questions from inquisitive minds, explain who the Riser Aba Al-Sadiq is, the evidence he presents to claim this title, and why he is here today. His message is essential for our times.

Matthew 22:37 - Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”

The brother firmly stated that his goal is to multiply actions to spread the truth far and wide, beyond national borders, and offer everyone the opportunity to learn about the advent of the promised Mahdi.

It is only by reaching out to people and creating opportunities for exchange that we can touch hearts and awaken consciences. The believers in France, as a group, understand that nothing matters more to them today than these missions. Their driving force each and every day is to spread the call and make their beloved Father, the Riser Aba Al-Sadiq Abdullah Hashem, proud of their efforts to hasten the development of the Divine Just State for the betterment of humanity. This is the core reason for their movement and the ultimate Goal of the Wise, as outlined in the seminal gospel of our age, The Goal of the Wise.
