AROPL Divine Just State Magazine recently reported on the disturbing case of our Bangladeshi brothers facing vigilante-style threats from a local mob incited by the ridicule and false doctrine from extremist Salafis on the streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Prophet Mohammed had made it abundantly clear to the people of the earth that in the End times, the scholars of the religion would be the most evil of creation, and that 99% of all religions would have been corrupted to the core.
“There will come a time upon my nation when nothing will remain from the Holy Quran except its inscription and nothing will remain from Islam except its name. They are named by it but they are the farthest people from it. Their mosques will be splendidly furnished but destitute of guidance. Their scholars of that time will be the worst scholars under the sky; fitna will come from them and to them it shall return.” – Prophet Mohammed.
So, the reaction of these evil clerics and their blind followers is not a surprise. Instead, it serves as a critical proof that the appearance of the Mahdi, Aba Al-Sadiq, would be apparent and, of course, necessary to expose corruption and bring about the reformation and restoration of the world’s politics, economy, and society under the universal banner of truth.
In order to understand more about the faith and courage of our brothers of the AROPL faith and their willingness to share the vision of the Riser of Truth in Dhaka, renowned for reprisals and violent backlashes, we decided to speak to them directly. They willingly shared with AROPL and DJS Magazine their story.
Mustafa Kawthar, one of the two brothers, responded to our questions in a profound and candid fashion, as you would expect from a willing servant of God and His messenger of this day and age.
"Hope you are well, dear brother, and despite the oppression and censorship, we are delighted you are willing to share your journey to the call of truth with DJS Magazine…”
Mustafa Kawthar from Bangladesh shared much of his personal journey to the call of truth with the media team at AROPL studios.
“It would be my pleasure to work on anything for this call. Actually, I am good for nothing. Only Qaim knows best what is good for me to do. Please advise me with the advice of the Mahdi. May my life be ransomed for Ahlul Bait.”
When asked about his culture and religious background, Mustafa shared:
“My father came from a noble Hindu family in Patuakhali (Dist.), Barishal. He lost his mother in childhood, was raised independently, and there were many disagreements between my Grandpa and my father on many issues. Religion was also one of the issues. At the age of 25, he left everything behind, the house, and the village forever, and went to Dhaka city. After two years, he reverted to Islam, as he said, ‘I have seen myself not following any religion of God, so I thought about every famous religion and asked which one is true? I saw that the Muslims praise and pray to God the most, five times a day is mandatory. This made him feel that Islam is the best religion to practice.’ And he had a certitude that there should be one God only. After two years, he got a job in Saudi Arabia and went to Mecca. A few years later, he married my mother in Narsingdi, Dhaka, who was from a noble Muslim family.
“My mother’s grandparent, Ali Mahmud, was believed to be a righteous soul who had supposedly performed many miracles. His grave is in my grandpa's house, and as such, many people visit here for ziyara. When I was four, I was brought to Mecca along with my mother, where we stayed for six years. My father stayed in Mecca until 1999, while my siblings and I, along with my mother, returned to Bangladesh when I was 10 years old. My academic school started here.
“Eighty percent of my district’s people are Muslim, 15% are Hindus, and 5% are from other religions. Most of the Muslims here are Sunni, some of whom follow Sufism and are basically followers of Ahlul Bait and saints like Abdul Qadir Jilani, Bayazid Bostami, Shah Jalal, Shah Poran, Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, etc. Sunnis and the Sufi saints are completely opposite to one another.”
When asked what led him to seek another path or way, Mustafa replied:
“I never sought another path or had any idea of seeking another path because I had certitude of being on the right path. ‘La Ilaha IllaAllah, Muhammadur RasulAllah.’ As my father came from a different religion and, because of religion, he left behind all the affluence of the world, he saw his devotion and feelings of true religion. My realization of religion and surroundings made me feel that I am on the right path.
“But the question in my mind arose: Why are there so many sects, and where is the true Islam? What is this Shia, Sunni, Saints, Sufis, and so on… Who is correct?
“From my childhood, I realized one thing: I should love Allah most and His most beloved creation, Muhammad, and everything we do should be for the sake of Allah. I was dreaming that if I were present in the time of Muhammad, it would be a great misery for me that in my lifetime, I was unable to reach Him.
“From when I came to know that there would be another Super Human coming to the earth, He shall bring Islam back to life, and His character would be the character of Muhammad, and His face would be the face of Muhammad, just like Muhammad is back again. This made me fascinated. Imam Mahdi was my superhero from my early juvenile time, and I always prayed to Allah to grant me to be by His side and always wanted to be with Him, though I was not sure how long it would be.”
Mustafa continued with a deep reflection on his personal quest:
“I was a practicing Muslim from my childhood—five times Salah, fasting during Ramadan, Hajj, and sacrificing everything—but never joined any kind of group. From the beginning, I hated politics and never believed in any kind of human selection as I knew my lord Imam Mahdi is actually Caliph, and He will demolish these false democratic and other tyrannical systems. It was obvious, clear, and profound to me.”
Mustafa explained how he came to discover the truth:
“My coming to this faith is a miracle to me. It was love at first sight. After my age-19 student visa refusal for Canada, I lost eight jobs, lost business capital three times, and fell into big debt. My whole life living in a rental house, I never owned any property. I lost my father at the age of 27, divorced after 10 years of marriage, and had two kids. I had no money, no job, and there was nothing left that could be taken from me.
“Every time I failed, I prayed to Allah and told Him to show me and guide me to the true path He wants. I believed that Allah talks to humans in a form of synchronicity, and every time I started a new journey of life, I sought His guidance.”
In August 2024, Mustafa’s life changed drastically after watching a video:
“In August 2024, I saw the Sermon of Clarification video of Aba Sadiq, and I started watching it. I was stunned. It was a crucial moment. I asked myself, ‘Is He a Dajjal?’ My mind answered, ‘Dajjal never calls towards God.’ The only remaining person in my mind was my superhero before my eyes. I felt He was telling me the truth.”
After watching the videos and reading the Goal of the Wise gospel, Mustafa wrote a message to Aba Sadiq:
“On 14th August, I wrote a message on Al-Qaim’s messenger pledging my allegiance, and on 19th August (which was my birthday), Aba Sadiq accepted me and replied with affirmation. That was the best birthday gift of my life. I always believed that God would grant me this, but I never thought I would find my superhero, the Mahdi, like that. It was totally unexpected.”
Since finding the call, Mustafa has dedicated his life to spreading the message:
“After finding this call and pledging my allegiance, all my sorrows, hopelessness, and earthly thoughts vanished. I realized how poor I am and how little I know! I started reading the Goal of the Wise, Al Haft Al Sharif, Book of Monotheism, Sayings of Ahmed Al Hasan, and was amazed by the knowledge. All unsolved mysteries were solved, and more doors of knowledge opened. I began sharing all the contents, joined the Telegram group, and actively started spreading the message.”
Mustafa expressed the difficulties of spreading the dawah in Bangladesh, a country where political systems and religious authorities remain entrenched:
“Bangladesh is one of the riskiest and most challenging countries to spread this call. Now it’s even more risky because Qaim said that non-working scholars are more dangerous than the Dajjal. The non-working scholars in Bangladesh are a major obstacle.”
Despite the challenges, Mustafa remains committed to his mission:
“I understand that street dawah today is virtual suicide. The least risky approach is propagating on social media and making videos. Spreading on the streets or in open air is too risky. Aba Sadiq knows best the right course of action.”
While we're on the subject of Bangladesh, what about the idea of boosting the coverage of Chakma, Rohingya, Sylheti, Chittagonian and other languages, that are spoken in Bangladesh and elsewhere, at the different editions of Wiktionary?
What about migrants who use Ramadan as an excuse to beat Aryan-descent Whites and others to facial injuries or to disability or even to death?
God bless Brother Mustapha for the amazing work he is doing in Bangladesh, spreading the glad tidings of the call ❤️
