Anar Akbarov, an Azeri refugee, has recently been spreading awareness about the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light in Darmstadt, Germany. Seen distributing flyers and engaging with people at key locations such as Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof and Luisenplatz, Anar has successfully sparked conversations about the faith, which challenges traditional Islamic beliefs. Many locals have even taken an interest in listening to lectures by religious leader Aba Al-Sadiq.
Anar’s journey is one marked by persecution in his homeland of Azerbaijan, where religious freedoms are heavily restricted. After discovering the AROPL faith in 2019, he faced severe backlash from friends and society, culminating in his arrest and mistreatment by Azerbaijani authorities in 2023. Despite this, Anar remains dedicated to his faith, continuing to share its message even after fleeing to Germany for safety.
With a growing community of believers, the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light emphasizes human rights, freedom of belief, and tolerance—values Anar hopes to freely promote in his new home.
A wave of grassroots activity has emerged across Germany as communities come together to promote a YouTube video series by Aba Al-Sadiq on the "Mahdi Has Appeared" channel. The series, which has been dubbed into German, is being widely shared via flyers and stickers featuring QR codes and links to the videos.
Believers from various regions, including North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Berlin, and Bavaria, have been actively distributing the flyers in their local areas. The campaign is growing in visibility as more people join the effort to spread the word about the video series throughout the country.
In the towns of Deggendorf and Osterhofen, Germany, Radig Azmammadov and Emrah Abbasov have taken to the streets to share the glad tidings of the appearance of the Mahdi. The duo has been engaging with the public, encouraging people to explore their message further by watching videos on YouTube related to this spiritual figure. Their outreach is aimed at raising awareness and sparking conversation within the community.
