Anar Akbarov, an Azeri refugee, has recently been spreading awareness about the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light in Darmstadt, Germany. Anar’s journey is one marked by persecution in his homeland of Azerbaijan, where religious freedoms are heavily restricted. After discovering the AROPL faith in 2019, he faced severe backlash from friends and society, culminating in his arrest and mistreatment by Azerbaijani authorities in 2023. Despite this, Anar remains dedicated to his faith, continuing to share its message even after fleeing to Germany for safety.
