More believers have been coming forth to spread the divine call in their regions after finding peace and light through the teachings of Aba Al-Sadiq. Ismayil Hajiverdiyev, from Azerbaijan, embraced the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light after becoming disillusioned with mainstream Islam, which he saw as increasingly radicalized and divided into 72 sects.
Ismayil felt that the Islam practiced by his community was at odds with the true teachings of Prophet Muhammad, who brought a message of unity and inclusivity under the supremacy of God. Through his studies and reflections, Ismayil perceived that Islam, in its pure form, represented unity, equality, and global peace. However, he found this ideal absent in his own community, which seemed dominated by political and religious elites who contradicted these principles.
He recalled the Quranic verse:
“Today I have perfected your religion for you, and I have completed My blessing upon you, and I have approved Islam for your religion.” (Qur’an, Chapter 5 (Al-Ma’idah), Verse 3)
This verse left him questioning why the Islam of today seemed so far from perfect. He also noticed widespread injustice and oppression, especially among the ruling elite and religious authorities, which starkly contrasted with the magnanimity and love exemplified by Prophet Muhammad.
Most astonishingly, Ismayil discovered the sacred final will of Prophet Muhammad, which outlined the names of his successors in an unbroken chain. This revelation brought him comfort, as he realized that God had not left humanity without guidance. Instead, humanity had gone astray by following self-serving leaders.
Having faced near-death experiences multiple times during his military service, Ismayil began to reflect on why he had been spared each time. After returning from military duty, his friends Vusal Yusifov and Tabriz Ahmadov introduced him to the Mahdi’s arrival and the teachings of Aba Al-Sadiq. Upon studying the evidence, including the will of Prophet Muhammad, Ismayil recognized the miracles in his life as divine signs and wholeheartedly embraced the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light.
After joining the religion, Ismayil experienced genuine peace and kindness among fellow believers, strengthening his conviction. However, as the religion gained traction, its adherents faced persecution by both the state and Muslims who deemed its teachings heretical. To protect themselves, Ismayil and others were forced to leave Azerbaijan.
In Turkey, Ismayil continued to face challenges, including detention in a camp for five months under harsh conditions. Following international pressure from over 25 human rights organizations, including HRWF and Amnesty International, he was released. Recognizing that he could not freely practice his faith in Turkey, Ismayil eventually moved to Poland, where he has been able to spread his faith more freely.
One of the individuals who embraced the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light through Ismayil’s efforts is Maja Białucha, a Polish citizen.
Maja Białucha’s Journey to the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light
Maja initially practiced Christianity but later converted to Islam, believing it to be the truthful path. However, she became disheartened by the divisions within Islam and the conflicting teachings of its many scholars. She was particularly disturbed by the unfair treatment of women in mainstream Islam, which led her to question whether it could truly be a divine religion.
The Quranic verse resonated with her:
“When it is said to them, ‘Follow what Allah has revealed,’ they reply, ‘No! We follow what we found our forefathers practicing.’ Would they still do so, even if their forefathers had no understanding or guidance?” (Qur’an, Chapter 2 (Al-Baqarah), Verse 170)
One day, Maja met Ismayil Hajiverdiyev, who introduced her to the teachings of Aba Al-Sadiq and the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light. Initially skeptical, Maja was struck by Ismayil’s morals, respect, and sincerity.
She realized that his actions reflected the true teachings of Jesus Christ, which she had loved as a child but never found in her own community.
As she began to explore the religion further, Maja read the book The Goal of the Wise, which explained the faith’s principles with clarity and evidence. She was particularly moved by the teachings of love, morality, and kindness, which aligned with the Gospel’s emphasis on compassion:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Bible, Book of Matthew, Chapter 22, Verses 37-40)
The comprehensive explanations and strong evidence provided by the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light convinced Maja that it was the true religion. She was especially inspired by the sacred will of Prophet Muhammad, which ensured unbroken guidance for humanity.
Motivated by her desire for global peace and tranquility, Maja embraced the faith, joining a community that practices love, morality, and kindness.
A Growing Movement Despite Persecution
Both Ismayil and Maja’s stories reflect the transformative power of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light. Despite facing persecution, believers continue to spread the divine call, inspired by their faith in the guidance of Abdullah Hashem, whom they recognize as the leader prophesied to guide humanity.
The Quran proclaims:
“When God’s ultimate help comes and the victory, and you see the people entering into the religion of God in multitudes, glorify the praises of your Lord and seek His forgiveness, for certainly, He is ever Accepting of Repentance.” (Qur’an, Chapter 110 (An-Nasr), Verses 1-3)
These stories of conversion and perseverance are testament to the resilience and faith of the Ahmadi believers, as they work toward their vision of unity, equality, and peace for all humanity.
