In Remembrance of Nuur Aliyare Saide

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the brutal and unjust death of Nuur Aliyare Saide, who departed this world on March 22, 2025, at the age of 30.

Nuur was a faithful and kind-hearted believer from Kismaya, Somalia—a devoted husband and father. He was a man of sincerity and deep conviction, having recently embraced the message of the Qa’im, Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq.

In a cruel act of religious persecution, Nuur was arrested on March 17, 2025, alongside his fellow believer Abdi Abdullahi Adan. Their only "crime" was following the truth they had discovered in the teachings of the Qa’im. During his detention, Nuur was subjected to horrific torture at the hands of Somali authorities—beaten in the most vulnerable parts of his body, physically broken, and left in agony.

Released five days later Nuur's condition rapidly worsened. With no access to public healthcare and unable to afford further treatment in a private clinic, he died that same night.

He leaves a wife, several children, and a grieving brother in faith, Abdi, who now also cares for Nuur’s wife and child. He also leaves behind a community of believers shattered by his loss but inspired by his strength.

Nuur Aliyare Saide will be remembered for his bravery, humility, and the depth of his belief. His blood bears witness to the oppression faced by many who stand firm in their truth.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
