Spreading Faith and Social Justice in Ontario, Canada

This is an update on the inspiring work and advocacy of Stacey Al-Mahdi in Ajax, Ontario, Canada. Stacey, a recent convert to Islam, has been actively spreading the message of God across her community, including placing posters at Ajax GO Station, bus stops, and even creatively sharing the message in local library book sections.

Stacey, who grew up in a Catholic background, found herself disillusioned with the church. Over time, she felt that the spiritual essence had been lost, leaving behind only rituals, traditions, and uninspiring sermons. She would attend church sporadically, mainly for major festivals, but increasingly sought a deeper connection.

After marrying a Muslim man, Stacey embraced Islam, but still struggled to find a sense of belonging. Her experiences with local mosques were painful—on one occasion, during prayer, she was segregated to a basement due to her skin color, leaving her feeling humiliated and alienated.

It wasn’t until her husband encountered the teachings of Aba Al-Sadiq and the School of Divine Mysteries that Stacey found the spiritual community she had been longing for. She was captivated by Aba Al-Sadiq unique ability to unify the Abrahamic faiths into a seamless, divine tapestry, also incorporating profound Gnostic wisdom. This experience transformed her perspective.

Today, Stacey is a passionate advocate for social justice, spreading the vision of the Divine Just State (DJS), a community where hunger, homelessness, and racism no longer exist. She is committed to following the teachings of Aba Al-Sadiq, whom she regards as the philosopher king of our time.

Her efforts echo the prophetic words of Jeremiah:

“O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.” – Jeremiah 10:23

Stacey believes that others, too, will be drawn to this message of unity, justice, and spiritual awakening, and is determined to continue her mission in spreading hope and change throughout her community.
