The Arrivals
It was through the inspiration of the TADS series that he produced another documentary series that caused a global sensation and an awakening. This ground-breaking series called ‘The Arrivals’ brought light to the deception of the system of the New World Order. Just as in TADS, The Arrivals was a series that highlighted and introduced the end times savior of Islam, Imam Mahdi. The Journey and the Call
Migration to Egypt and the Arab Spring
In 2008, Abdullah Hashem migrated to Cairo, Egypt, where he settled down and continued his search for truth and knowledge. He was in Cairo when the famous Arab Spring took place, and was an active participant in the Egyptian Revolution against Hosni Mubarak. He walked with the protestors in standing up against the tyrannical regime of Mubarak, speaking out for a more just way of life for his fellow Egyptians.
Discovering Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan
It was after the revolution, in 2011, that Abdullah Hashem came across the truth of the appearance of a prophesied character known in Islamic traditions as ‘The Yamani’ (which is Arabic for ‘The Right Hand’). The character claiming to be the Yamani is Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan. On studying the matter, he accepted the claim and stated his belief in this Call, through his episodes of TADS, Second Semester.
Migration of Believers in Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan to Egypt
Following Abdullah Hashem’s claim, he was joined by his childhood companion and friend, Joseph McGowen, who moved to Cairo, Egypt, in fall of 2011 to live and work together. Joseph McGowen followed the creed of Abdullah Hashem, a creed inspired by the life of Jesus, which was to leave everything behind and to sell all worldly possessions in order to work for God, by spreading this Call in His name.
The door to migration to Egypt was now open, and believers in this Call, who had been following the work of Abdullah Hashem online for years, began migrating to Cairo from all over the world, including the West. They gathered and worked together, viewing this as the fulfillment of a prophecy from Islamic traditions, which states that people would flock from the West and be gathered by an End-Times figure known as the ‘Companion of Egypt’.
First Shiite School
They built a school to start learning and studying the various sciences of religion together. Abdullah Hashem became the first to open a Shiite school in Egypt. This was mentioned in Egyptian newspapers and on Wael el-Ibrashis famous TV show at the time.
The Platform of Egypt
Abdullah Hashem also began a media platform that would spread the knowledge of everything he and his companions learnt of the Call of Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan in different languages, mainly English and Arabic. This platform was the ‘Minbar of Egypt’ of ‘The Companion of Egypt’, that is spoken of in Islamic traditions.
The Black Banners
In 2015, the Call of Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan went through a period of changes, as the truth of deception of many members of the Call came to light. Many of those who had claimed to represent Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan in Iraq had been attempting to deceive the people by speaking on the tongue of the Imam and had defied his authority.
Abdullah Hashem and his companions took a stand against this and spoke up, informing the people of this deception.
After the death of King Abdullah, on the 23rd of January, 2015, the banner was changed from white to black, by the command of Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan, and the Call went into a new phase, which involved the appearance of the Mahdi Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan, from his occultation. This was considered to be a prophecy that was fulfilled from Islamic traditions concerning the events that take place after the death of King Abdullah of Hijaz (Saudi Arabia).
At this point, Abdullah Hashem was granted the position of being the General Responsible Authority over the Earth by Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan, and the believers in the Call were informed of this.
In 2015, by the authority of Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan, Abdullah Hashem was granted the title ‘Aba Al-Sadiq’, and the position of being the Second Mahdi mentioned in the Will of Prophet Mohammed.
Migration to Europe
The next headquarters was established in Germany in 2017, and Abdullah Hashem, along with his family and companions from Egypt, migrated there. He was joined in Germany by hundreds of believers in this Call.
It was in Germany that they set up a satellite channel called The Black Banners of the East Satellite Channel. This channel gained popularity in the MENA region. Its aim was to spread the Call of Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan. The channel offered programming in several languages, mainly Arabic and English, as well as French, Spanish, German, Persian, and Urdu.
In 2019, they set up a headquarters in Sweden, and Abdullah Hashem and his companions moved there. Their work on the satellite channel continued until it was shut down and censored in 2020 due to political controversy and pressure from the Jordanian and Iraqi governments.
It was in Sweden that Abdullah Hashem, by the authority of Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan, revealed the beginning of the Seventh Covenant, the final and complete covenant between God and mankind.
The latest headquarters of Abdullah Hashem and his companions is now based in the United Kingdom, England. The community of believers who have joined now numbers up to 300 members from around the world and from all walks of life.

Persecution Against the Believers of the Religion
Abdullah Hashem and his companions have been victims of persecution. Members of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light in Algeria, Iran, Malaysia, Azerbaijan and many other countries have been shunned from family and friends. They have been arrested, imprisoned, and subjected to various forms of abuse and torture by intolerant government systems that reject the teaching of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace adn Light as heretical.
Persecution in Egypt
The Egyptian authorities are guilty of having coerced and extorted members of the faith since 2012. These members suffered being raided by national security, who effectively pushed the members out of Egypt with their abusive tactics.
Persecution in Europe
Police and officials in Europe displayed intolerant and racist behaviour towards Abdullah Hashem and the members of The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light, which comprises people of different nationalities, races, genders and skin colour.
In Sweden, members of AROPL experienced various forms of harassment and unjust treatment. This included disproportionate police actions and raids on their properties, as well as ongoing challenges related to immigration and visa applications.
Support of Amnesty International
In June 2022, 18 members of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL) in Algeria were arrested and charged with participating in an unauthorized group and denigrating Islam, after being interrogated and having their electronic devices confiscated by authorities. Three members were detained, while 15 others were released pending investigation. At the time, Amnesty International called for their immediate release and the dropping of all charges, emphasizing the group's right to freedom of religion. Additionally, the persecution of Abdullah Hashem's followers has been condemned by organizations like the United Nations, the OSCE, Human Rights without Frontiers, HRANA, FOB and many others.
Prophecies Attributed to the Works of Abdullah Hashem
The Companion of Egypt
The term ‘The Companion of Egypt’ comes from the Islamic narrations. The Companion of Egypt is considered to be an End-of-Times character that establishes a platform from which he spreads the words of the Mahdi to different parts of the world. His name is also meant to be ‘Abdullah’. The traditions state:
“…Then the Companion of Egypt will emerge from a long disappearance and silence, he opens the Cave of Secrets and calls out “Revenge, Revenge!”, and he paves the way for the Mahdi. Verily, the people are with the rulers and the world (dunya) and religion is with the strangers, so glad tidings to them, until the Mahdi of the Ahlulbayt comes out for them…” (What Imam Ali said concerning the End Times, Al-Sayed Ali Ashour, p. 329)
Abdullah Hashem has fulfilled the criteria of being this character.
According to Islamic traditions, the platform (minbar) of Egypt is meant to be built by a man in the End Times, and this platform was meant to be of and for the Ahlulbayt (People of The House) of Mohammed.
Imam Ali said: “I shall build in Egypt a platform…” He was asked: “It is as if you are saying you shall come to life after your death?” The Imam responded: “Wait O Abaya, you have taken it in another way, a man from me shall do it.” (Bihar Al-Anwar, Al-Allamah Al-Majlisi, Vol. 53, p. 60)
To date, Abdullah Hashem is the only person to have ever built a platform whose sole purpose was to assist and support the call of the Ahlulbayt of Mohammed. Therefore, this media platform, which was created by Abdullah Hashem, is the one mentioned by Imam Ali, in accordance with prophecy found in Islamic narrations.
It was also foretold in prophetic Islamic narrations that, in the End Times, the people of the West would gather in Egypt, where this platform would be.
Ammar ibn Yassir said in a long narration where he describes the events before and around the time of the Rise:
“...and the people of the West go out to Egypt.” (Mo’jam Ahadeeth Imam Al-Mahdi (AS), Al-Shaikh Ali Al-Korani, Vol. 1, p. 329-330)
Abdullah Hashem’s work led to people from various countries of the West to start gathering in Egypt. Through his translations and media productions, he opened the call of Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan to audience. To date, he is the only individual calling people to the call of the Ahlulbayt and whose works for this cause led to people from Western countries gathering for this particular matter.
The Companion of the Matter ‘Abdullah’
Many Islamic narrations mention the name of an End Times Character named ‘Abdullah’, who is mentioned in these prophetic narrations as doing several things, among which are gathering the people of the West and supporting Imam Mahdi.
In the Book of Al-Fitan it is written: “If a man from the Bani Abbas rules whose name is Abdullah, and he is the companion of the last Ain of them, by it they opened and by it they end. He is the key to the sword of destruction, if a book of his was read in Al-Sham that states, “from Abdullah the Prince of the Believers,” it won’t be long before a letter is read from the Platform of Egypt that states, “From Abdullah Abd Al-Rahman the Prince of the Believers.” If that happens the companions of the East and the companions of the West flock towards Al-Sham like two racing horses, each seeing that kingship shall not be established except by he who takes over Al-Sham, each stating that whoever captures it has captured kingship." (Kitab Al-Fitan, Naim ibn Hammad, p. 154)
The Qaim (Riser) from the Family of Mohammed

From Islamic narrations found in the manuscript, ‘Al-Haft Al-Shareef’, it is understood that certain types of knowledge will be interpreted and explained by a particular End Times character known as the Qaim, or Riser, of the Family of Mohammed.
“Verily, God chose between the souls in the shadows and then made them enter the bodies, and if our Qaim emerges he shall make the brother inherit from the brother whom God paired him with in the shadows, and he does not make him inherit from his physical brother, know him from that, and whoever knows him from that there shall not remain upon him a stronger proof.” (Al-Haft Al-Shareef, Al-Muadhal ibn Omar Al-Jofi, Door 66, p. 180)
To date the only individual to explain this narration for the people is Abdullah Hashem, confirming him to be the Qaim of the Family of Mohammed.
Abdullah from the Will of Prophet Mohammed
The character mentioned in the Will of Prophet Mohammed named ‘Abdullah’ is referring to Abdullah Hashem, who claimed the will just as the narrations state the rightful claimant would.
“...Then there will be twelve Mahdis after him, so if death comes to him, let him hand it over to his son, the first of the Mahdis, he has three names, one like mine and my Father’s and it is Abdullah (Servant of God) , Ahmed (the Praised), and the third name is Al-Mahdi (the Guided) , and he is the first of the believers.” (The Will of Prophet Mohammed, Ghaybat Al-Tusi, Al-Shaikh Al-Tusi, Vol. 1, p. 174; Bihar Al-Anwar, Al-Allamah Al-Majlisi, Vol. 53, p. 148)
Therefore, by virtue of his name appearing in the prophetic will and his fulfillment of numerous hadiths, coupled with his actions, teachings, and the events surrounding him aligning precisely with prophetic traditions, Abdullah Hashem clearly establishes himself as the Second Mahdi of the Twelve Mahdis, a central figure of the End Times, foretold in Islamic narrations and prophecies.
